SUMMARY:
The Associate Retail Operations Manager primarily focuses on leading the back-of-house retail warehouse operations, while also assisting the Team Store Operations Manager with the daily and game/event day operation of all the retail locations as needed. This position must be comfortable in assuming the responsibility of lead manager as assigned. Daily warehouse operations include receiving, processing and invoicing of inbound shipments, organization of warehouse(s), replenishment of Team Store and other retail locations, as well as fulfillment and customer service needs of PacersTeamStore.com. In this role, the Associate Retail Operations Manager must support the Retail Operations Manager in the creation of an innovative, premium retail experience for fans and staff, while continuing to maximize sales and further build all Pacers Sports & Entertainment brands.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage purchase order receiving, product replenishment, fulfillment of all .com orders and assist with invoicing process. May also include assortment plan management, tracking of receipts, and invoicing of purchase orders.
  • Oversee warehouse to ensure accuracy and timeliness of merchandise flow to retail locations.
  • Receive and inventory all merchandise deliveries in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an efficient system of storage of all merchandise in the warehouse.
  • Create an environment in which the warehouse is always clean, organized, efficient and accurate.
  • Responsible for full physical inventorying on all merchandise once a year in the Pacers Team Store and warehouse. Cycle counts to also be conducted throughout fiscal year.
  • Receive and distribute incoming shipments (UPS, FedEx, etc.).
  • Coordinate all outgoing shipments and oversee web order fulfillment process.
  • Must become an expert in key retail software systems including Retail Cloud, Shipstation Shopify and be proficient in excel.
  • Perform the duties of the Game Night Manager as assigned. This includes ensuring staff is in place, proper staffing levels are maintained, breaks are given, sales are reconciled, and the store is closed at the end of the night.
  • Responsible for managing arena locations as assigned.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels at Gainbridge Fieldhouse arena locations with direction provided in planogram and template.
  • Stock and maintain inventory levels in Pacers Team Store.
  • Along with Retail Operations Manager, responsible for the daily operations of the retail store(s).
  • Assist in ensuring the physical maintenance of the store is properly maintained.
  • In collaboration with retail leadership, ensure timely completion of all store reports and ensure their accuracy.
  • Maintain knowledge of the custom jersey process, including how to make Fever and Pacers jerseys as well as how to maintain the equipment.
  • Oversee the ordering and inventory management for the components of custom jersey business.
  • Responsible for assisting the Retail Operations Manager with the hiring, disciplining, and terminating of store personnel.
  • Conduct all part-time staff training.
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service through the Elevate program at all locations both personally and through management of staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in retail operations and 1 year in a supervisory role required.
  • Bachelors degree in business or related field preferred.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
Employee should be adept at Microsoft office software, Outlook, and retail systems.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret instructions and reports. Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from Manager, Clients, Customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Knowledge to apply mathematical concepts to make change and do mathematical analysis when needed.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret directions.

Employee must effectively communicate with customers and other employees and must exercise discretion when making sales.
